Please note: For every event that you plan to enter your athletes, an entry form must be filled out and sent to the office by the due date.  We cannot stress this point enough.  Please do not assume that since you filled out a coach's registration form your athletes will automatically be put into events you signed up for.  We need specific information for each event and that information is on each entry form.  If we do not receive an entry form, your athletes are not eligible to participate in the event.  Please do not disappoint your athletes by not sending in your entry form.

All athletes must have a current Application For Participation in Special Olympics form on file in the HCSO office.  Please use the new form that is in the Coaches Manual.  Parents are responsible for taking their individual to have the application form filled out by their doctor.  Once completed, please send the form to the HCSO office (please make a copy for your files).  When entries are received in the HCSO office, you will receive a confirmation letter with any last minute details.

This is only for those athletes that you feel are capable of spending 3 days away from their families. There will be a quota for schools/agencies. Due to rising costs ($70 per athlete/chaperone) we will not be taking as many athletes this year. We also ask that teachers and/or coaches attend this weekend as chaperones for their athletes.
